Shipping & Returns

What are your shipping methods and costs?

We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $100 within the US. Orders under $100 are subject to a flat rate of $7. We also provide options for two day and overnight shipping. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days, including overnight orders. Please be advised, we cannot refund original shipping costs when returning products. At launch we are shipping within the US only. However, we are actively working on shipping internationally as soon as possible.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most items are ready to ship, unless otherwise noted as PRE-ORDER with an estimated ship date. In stock items will ship within two business days. During the holiday period, Please allow 7-10 business days for orders to ship. A shipping confirmation email will provide tracking information with more personalized shipping estimations based on the specific shipping address. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us directly at hi@clhu.com and we’ll see what we can do.

Can I ship my order to an international location?

At the moment we are only able to ship within the US. For any questions or requests, please contact our team at hi@clhu.com

What is your return policy?

Holiday Return Policy

Items purchased online that are received between November 1, 2022 and December 14, 2022, may be returned through January 4, 2023. Please Note that all other terms and conditions of our Standard Policy are still applicable with respect to such items purchased including final sale and non-returnable items. Items purchased prior to ourBlack Friday Sale will not be eligible for a price adjustment. Items marked as final sale will not be eligible for return or exchange. All purchases made after December 14, 2022 are subject to the Standard 14-day Return Policy.

When I return an item, how long before I receive a refund?

An email will be sent once the return has been processed and a refund has been issued. It can take around 2-5 business days from the receipt of the return package to initiate the refund. Your credit card company or bank may require additional processing time.

How does ClHu’s sizing work?

We believe that conventional sizing is oppressive and shame-inducing, so we disrupted the traditional model. At ClHu we’ve created a unique color-based sizing system.  If you like the way it fits, it’s your size. Our approach to sizing erases both gender and body image expectations. That’s why we showcase sizing on each model, and cast a variety of models. We are launching with 7 sizes. Inclusivity is so important to us. As a small business we had to start somewhere, and we plan to grow from here and make an even broader spectrum. 

For anyone not comfortable with our approach to sizing, we provide detailed measurements to help navigate sizing from a more traditional perspective. 

What is the QR Code all about?

Each ClHu item has a QR code that is associated with a unique product ID. When you receive your your ClHu garment, scan the QR code with your smartphone, create a personal profile (or sign in if you already have one). Add to the story of your garment with images, video and text. Should you choose to, you can share your story on other social channels and connect with the ClHu Community. When you’re ready to pass it on, resell your pre-loved ClHu items on ClHu Redo and your garment’s journey continues.

What is ClHu Redo?

ClHu Redo is our peer-to-peer resale marketplace. When the quality is great, a garment has a lifecycle well beyond your use for it. When you’re done with a ClHu product, list your pre-owned item for resale on Redo, give it a chance at another life and make a little money back.  Or you can shop ClHu Redo for pre-owned pieces and one of a kind items from our archive.  With ClHu Redo, we’ve created a platform to keep garments that already exist passing from human to human. And in doing so, we decrease the demand for new product. We invite you to join our anti-waste community and to pass on your pre-loved items with ClHu Redo.

Can I return my RE/SELL purchase?

All Redo purchases are final unless the item is not in the condition described by the seller. If that situation occurs, you can open a dispute process; if we confirm the dispute, we will offer a refund and ask you to return the item.

What is the ClHu Community?

ChLu is a platform that enables full lifecycle product traceability, where newer humans can come together to thought share, connecting a generation through the clothes they wear. When you receive a ChLu garment, scan the QR code, check your phone for a link to  log in,log in, create a personal profile - “claim” your ClHu items to add to your profile or “closet”. Clothes carry the evidence of who we are and how we see the world. Within the ClHu Community, you can personalize your garments by adding and sharing your story as you’re living it.

What is ClHu doing about sustainability?

Buy better, buy less.

Some say there’s no such thing as a sustainable clothing company. That if you’re creating products, you’re contributing to our industry’s harmful impact on the world. We know we can’t be a brand that calls ourselves “sustainable”. But we do take our responsibility to our planet and community very seriously. 

The fact is that we need to change the way we consume.

So, we built a model that supports the type of change the world should expect from a brand.

For us, that starts with making high-quality clothes that just last longer. Our limited production runs mean we use less materials, which result in less waste.

The clothes we put out into the world can have a story beyond our own. By connecting our lives with our clothes through digital content, the ClHu Journey adds personalized storytelling to our garments. This human connection creates inherent value and makes our clothes less disposable.

Through the ClHu Redo program, it’s up to us to pass on our clothes and the stories they carry to the next human—by reselling directly through our peer-to-peer resale marketplace. A win for all.

What is ClHu Redo?

ClHu Redo is our peer-to-peer recommerce platform. When you’re done with your ClHu garment, pass it on to another member of the ClHu community to continue the story. If you are looking for something and working on a budget, you might be able to find a pre-loved version of it on ClHu Redo.

What can I find in Redo?

You will find pre-loved styles posted by the ClHu community available to shop. Items will be shipped to you directly from their previous owner to begin their second life.

How do I pay for a Redo item?

You will pay in the same way as with a new item. Simply "Add to Cart" and proceed through checkout as usual.

How long does shipping take?

Redo sellers will fulfill your order and provide a shipping update. If you have any questions, you can reach out to your seller directly.

Can I return my Redo purchase?

What forms of payment do you accept?

I am having trouble placing an order online. Do you take phone orders?

We are more than happy to assist you. You can contact us at hi@ClHu.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please have as much information handy as you can.

Is it possible to cancel or modify an order?

We're so sorry to hear there is an issue with your order. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot change your order once it is placed and confirmed.

If, however, you only need to apply a discount code that you forgot to apply at checkout, reach out to us at hi@ClHu.com with the discount code, and we'll take care of that for you.

How can I check on the status of an order I placed online?

Your order confirmation email will include an order number. Once an order has shipped, a shipping confirmation email will be sent with tracking information. If you have created an account on our site, you can also reference the order number within your account’s order history, which will also be updated with tracking information as it becomes available.

I received a damaged item. What should I do?

At ClHu we believe in better quality and products that have many lives. We apologize for any inconvenience and would love to find a way to make it up to you. Please email us at hi@ClHu.com with your order number and photos of the defects. We will advise how to proceed as soon as possible. Please note that for ClHu Redo issues, please contact your seller directly.

My order still hasn’t arrived. Is it lost? What can I do?

If you believe your order has been delayed or lost in the post, please contact us immediately and we will initiate an investigation with the courier. Unfortunately, we cannot resend your order or refund you until the courier has concluded the investigation. For this reason, we recommend that you send your purchase to a safe and secure location.

Is ordering on clhu.com safe?

We take your safety and privacy seriously at ClHu. We use industry standard SSL encryption to protect your details. All sensitive information, like your name, address, password, and card details are protected.

Where else can I find authentic ClHu product?

At this time ClHu gear is only available on chlu.com and on chlu.com/redo.
